Hey all, here’s an oldie but an okay-ie. The first Metroid marathon was shortly before my time, but nevertheless I felt its presence when everyone kept saying “OMG BOOM” during the first Mother marathon. It refers to completely dominating Kraid with missiles. After a while I drew up this goofy little design, desperate to gain the attention and approval of our High Lords and Masters of Quickly Playing Through Several Games for Charity. Needless to say, Chase chopped off my left ring finger and told me to stop being such a desperate worm. I told him worms don’t have fingers, which is how I lost my right thumb. Anyway, the bigger version is under the cut… CUT?! NO DON’T SAY THAT WORD! CHASE FLASHBACKS!

Hey all. Still ridiculously busy with Offline Stuff. I can’t seem to catch a break :< Though hopefully I’ll have some killer projects to show you in the future. Until then, have a Tiny Weapons Guy. Feel free to use Tiny Weapons Guy as a blog or forum avatar. If you use Tiny Weapons Guy in other sites and people ask where he came from, link ‘em back to The Speed Gamers! Tiny Weapons Guy will have then served his purpose. I mean, other than amusing me way more than he should.

HEY KIDS! It’s time for another VG Flash! Yay me! AND YAY YOU! For any newcomers who might be reading this, VG Flash is a celebration of the history of gaming. A celebration that–like all celebrations for all occasions around the world–involves making cartoons about a knife-wielding tempura shrimp and a flying blueberry. This time around, they meet a giant, demonic, skeletal pterosaur. “Aww, how adorable! I bet this cartoon is simply precious! I also now feel an undying urge to send you all of my money and build a 53-foot-tall bronze statue of you outside of my home or place of business!” Why thank you, entire population of Earth! You’re too kind!
… anyway, the cartoon’s under the cut.

So yeah, just something adorable for you all for Valentine’s Day. D’AWWW HOW SWEEEEEEET!!! Also thanks for your suggestions for the comic! I’m now going over them and deciding which ones to use in what capacity. Some of the ideas particularly struck me, but will in all likelihood show up much later in the story. Keep an eye out though!; my goal is to work in at least one idea from every person into the overall plot. Anyway, under the cut is some disgusting cuteness…

People, people, please! Let us not be too quick to love this crazy hardcore evil fox-beast Pokémon! Now’s not the time for respect! Now’s the time for WACKY. We must slap around this new monster until it realizes it looks kind of goofy and behaves accordingly! Just think how much better the new movie would be if Zoroark kicked off its evil plan by going do-mi-doing in his do-mi-do duds. Think how great it would be if the show had an evil fox with a silly voice. That’s a world I want to live in, and you know you want to live in it too. So read on and see how we should properly welcome this new Pokémon!…

So I’ve been getting back into Bemani lately. Sadly the local arcade shut down many moons ago, but there was a time when every weekend was EXPLOSIVELY POPULAR DDR BUST-A-DANCE WEEKEND. DDR, Dance Maniax, Guitar Freaks, Drummania, Beatmania IIDX… yeah, it had quite a few games in the series. I fell out of DDR a few years ago so I picked up the soundtracks to Supernova, Supernova 2, Festival, and STR!KE. I was happy to hear that they’ve now included The Irritable Great White Horse from Pop n’ Music 11 in DDR, under the name Tino’s White Horse. So, I tried out a new coloring technique with some fanart of Tino…
