As you’ve undoubtedly heard and gone insane with happiness over, Capcom itself is going to help out with The Speed Gamers’ Resident Evil marathon! And when something that rad happens, there’s only one proper response.
CELEBRATE
Also sorry about taking so long to respond to PMs; trust me, the wait will be worth it

And now for a cartoon befitting the month. It’s Your Rain! I originally wanted to do the original song from the Silent Hill 4 soundtrack, but I didn’t have enough time so I went with the DDR version. This is the first appearance of the “Stababy” creatures, who are named after the nickname I gave the “grey children” in Silent Hill 1 since I didn’t know any of the monsters’ names.
Also, FAKE SHAKY CAM WHY NOT.

Play as the Medic in Team Fortress 2? Sing and dance happily all the live long day? Love dot eyes? Donate to charity? Then this picture is for you.
I drew this spray for a special TF2 tournament that was played for charity. My team won and we managed to raise more than $2,000 for Heifer International. Like I told the coordinators of the tourney, “video game playin’ for charity is the best kind of video game playin’.” And I know you all agree
After the win I dubbed him the Charity Medic.

ATTENTION! GLORIOUS ATTENTION!
Before I start, let me say that I read and appreciate every comment I get on these and my art. I rarely respond because I can hardly ever think of anything to say beyond “thanks! I appreciate it!
” and repeating that over and over would sound very fake. So consider this the blanket “THANK YOU” response to all comments past, present, and future.
“What if in the future I say you’re terrible a–” “THANK YOU!”
That said, here’s Kind Lady. I wanted to complete a cartoon in a very short amount of time, and I got this cute little idea to use squiggly sketchbook art. This is one of my favorite Bemani songs. How much do I like it? Well, I have a 7-and-a-half minute extended version of the song on my hard drive. However, I accidentally credit Naoki in the credits, when the song is by OKUYATOS. By the time I realized my mistake, it was too late to change it. Oopsie.

Hey kids! Are you paying attention to me 24/7? I’m like an attention-seeking shark; if eyes aren’t on me all day, I die. True story!
So here we have the third VG Flash. I figured to keep up the momentum of the first two cartoons and follow up with something from DDR Mario Mix. The title is based on the Japanese name for the song “Korogaru Koin No Yoo Ni,” which means “Like a Rolling Coin.” I chose that over the American name “Pirate Dance” since there are no pirates nor dances in the cartoon. Needless to say, Yoshi inspired the two big-nosed prehistoric creatures. Wilhelm is riding a plesiosaur because my smart-alec friend said that would be perfect for a foot race. Zee is riding a lambeosaur because I love duck-billed dinosaurs (hence the name “Anatotitan.”)

In a truly self-absorbed fashion, I have decided to try posting more pictures. If I can get into a good enough groove, then maybe I can show off at least once a week, because everyone needs a strict showing-off schedule. I’m also trying to determine which showing-off format is the least annoying to the audience, as that would defeat the purpose of the showing off.

Here’s a picture I did a few years back. It was for a contest for the PokeWiFi community on Livejournal. It didn’t win, but it was great practice and a lot of fun to make, so it’s all good.

Salutations! The self-indulgent, egomaniacal fun continues with the next episode of VG Flash. Several people had asked if Zee died at the end of B4U, or if she was evil or just plain dumb. I wanted to show that she was both alive and not a villainous numbskull, so I made this cartoon to show her fun, happy personality. Originally I happened to finish and post this cartoon Valentine’s Day, which seems fitting.
Sakura is from Beatmania, and is based on the old Japanese song “Sakura Sakura.” It’s also one of the few 10-foot songs in Dance Dance Revolution, so I never passed it
And yes, I was playing some hardcore Okami when I made this short.

Some sad news… Captain Lou Albano, the famed wrestler who played Mario in the Super Mario Bros. Super Show, died today at the age of 76. I watched the show constantly as a kid, so this is kind of a downer. Mourn ya ’til I join ya, Lou.

Hey! Party people!
In my neverending quest to make everything about me all the time forever, I’ve decided to update with the VG Flash backlog. Witness the glorious evolution (or lack thereof) of Wilhelm the shrimp and Zee the bluberry’s adventures!
First up is B4U, a song from Dance Dance Revolution. Originally the project was called “DDR Flash” and was only going to feature music from Konami’s Bemani series. When I first got into Bemani games, I had visions for many of the songs in the series, though most of them are too ambitious for just one person. This first cartoon is a simplified version of what I thought of for B4U; I knew I wanted one character vs. a giant, transformed robot, but the original idea was pretty involved. Anyway, this was meant to be more of a standalone thing and just some Flash practice, but the ending confused people so I kept on going.
Also this was back when I couldn’t convert my .swf files without a free trial program, so enjoy the ugly watermark!
