While Nintendo still denies that a price drop is coming for its little white box, retailer catalog listings are saying differently. Toys R Us had the price drop in their catalog earlier this week and now Kotaku reported Target and Best Buy doing so as well.
All of these retailers list a $50 price drop for the system. Nintendo says all these deals are by the retailer’s decision only, but we shall see in the coming weeks.
The last few days have been console bundles galore and here is another one to add to the list.
Microsoft will be offering a bundle with the 120GB X-box 360 Elite which includes a controller, Halo 3, Halo 3 ODST, and a Halo Reach Multiplayer Beta Key. It will be available for PAL territories later this month at a €280 price point.

Engadget had a intresting piece of information come across their site.
The PS3 may be getting an Uncharted 2 bundle with a 250GB PS3. Endgadget said it was from a reliable source, but for right now we will leave it as a rumor just to be safe. No price point or release information was given. But based off the rumor for Europe that includes the same bundle, I would take a guess it will hit some times in October if its real.
At a press event today in Los Angeles, Infinity Ward announced a new 250GB Xbox 360 console.
The console will be black with Modern Warfare 2 art on it. The 360 comes with a copy of the game and two wireless controllers. It’ll be available November 10 for $399.

Adding even more speculation to the recent rumor that the wii would be receiving a price cut, a scan has surfaced of a Toys R’ Us ad showing the Wii at $199.99 usd. According to the tip Kotaku got, the new price would take effect the week of September 27th. The scan also advertises that the Wii would still be bundled with Wii Sports.

I found this while browsing slickdeals.net; a great bargain which includes several AAA titles. What’s extra nifty is this deal extends to pre-order games like Halo ODST and Modern Warfare 2.
Amazon is running a pretty sweet deal until September 12, 2009 at 11:59PST, “Buy Two Xbox 360 Platinum Hits, Get a Third Free”.
Unfortunately not every Platinum Hits game is listed, Amazon has only a certain selection available. Nevertheless, there’s a chunk of good games listed.
