Great job everyone!

HUGE SUCCESS!

The PSPGo didn’t exactly make a big dent in the market. I’m actually surprsied it went this long without a price drop. But Sony is finally deciding to cut a couple of bucks off the price tag. The $250 asking price is no more! Now you will only have to fork over $199, only $30 more than the core pack for the PSP 3000.

The UK price for the PSPGo is dropping to £159.99. I’m not sure how that compares to the previous pricing, but it’s cheaper!

Although, it’s still a bit of hard sale. The upcoming God of War: Ghost of Sparta PSP bundle slams in at the $199.99 price point as well. And with the inability to play a legit copy of the recent hit Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep on the PSP Go, it may still be better to shoot for the 3000.

Microsoft recently raised the monthly fees on Xbox Live. OnLive? They are getting rid of it completely.

OnLive CEO announced on their blog that a monthly membership fee will no longer be needed for the service. From now on, the only purchase necessary for a game are the 3-Day, 5-Day, and Full PlayPasses. The 3-Day and 5-Day PlayPasses are essentially renting the game, while the Full PlayPass is pretty much the same as buying the game forever, or as long as OnLive is in existence at least.

The more accessible the better. Anyone using, or thinking about picking up OnLive?

North Americans are being left out when it comes to the Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep collectors edition. But those who still don’t have a PSP yet, and plan on picking up Birth by Sleep, should look at a Gamestop exclusive bundle Sony will be offering.

The bundle includes a Mystic Silver PSP-3000, Birth by Sleep, a 4 GB memory stick, 50 songs via SonyMusicPass, and… Madden 2011? Yeah I’m not sure that last one is supposed to be there… BUT maybe its a hint. Kingdom Hearts: FOOTBALL EDITION. Final Fantasy and Disney Characters duke it out on the field with the old pigskin. Throw in some real madden players in there too, instant moola.

Whether or not Madden 2011 is actually in it, the bundle costs $199.99. You can pick up at GameStop when the title launches September 7th.
