TGS may be over but the Final Fantasy XIII trailer has just been made available to public. The trailers pretty bulky too lasting about seven minutes long.
This is going to sound a bit strange, but when ever I see JRPG trailers I just think “This needs more middle aged / old main characters.” Maybe I’m just starting to get sick of seeing young people in JRPGs. Some of the characters in Final Fantasy XIII are a step in the right direction, but I’m waiting for the day to I see a RPG with a full party of old men and women fighting to save the world.
Final Fantasy XIII will be coming to 360 and PS3 in Spring 2010 for North America and Europe.
Trailer Dump #3 and TGS is still bringing us some good content. This time around there’s quite a few Dead Rising 2 videos showing off some of the weaponry, an Assassins Creed II Story Trailer, and a No More Heroes 2 trailer that shows off a new playable character. Be sure to check those out.
If you missed Trailer Dump #1 or Trailer Dump #2 you can still go back and view them. Hit the jump to view today’s. (Again, sorry for the overlap on first video)
TGS Trailer Dump #2 is here. Quite a few trailers this time around that include God of War 3, Final Fantasy XIV, Trinity: Souls of Zell O’ll and more. Be sure to check out Trailer Dump #1 if you missed it. Trailer Dump #3 is out now as well.
Also a quick reminder that Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker‘s TGS demo is available for download for PSP owners.
Trailers after the jump, so enjoy! (Sorry about the slight overlap in the first video, can’t seem to avoid it)
For TGS we will be doing a Trailer/ Gameplay dump for any new trailers that come across when ever we can (I’ll probably do it before I go to sleep each night). If there is something major it will definitely get its own post. Otherwise its going in the TGS trailer dump. Also this is more of a TGS time frame dump, even if it isnt for TGS but releases during TGS it will get put it in a trailer dump. Trailer Dump # 2 and Trailer Dump # 3 are out so be sure to check those out.
Also their in no particular order, trailers after the jump. (Sorry about the slight overlap in the first video, can’t seem to avoid it.)
I’m a huge Metal Gear Solid fan, but honestly the first couple of teaser/trailers did not grab my attention. The newest trailer shown today at Tokyo Game Show on the other hand……attention officially grabbed.
When I hear about a live-action trailer for a video game, I roll my eyes . However, I think the ODST live-action trailer was very well done. I’d say the production value is close to that of a full budget Hollywood film. Check it out in all its HD glory. Halo 3: ODST drops September 22.
