I really like what I’m seeing, and I’m super hyped for this game, but DK’s voice is just different enough to leave a foul taste in my nostalgia. At least the Smash Brother’s games got a sound pretty close to DKC and DK64. This one is jarringly different.
Course after a few hours playing I won’t notice anymore. Kind of like how much hold Optimus sounds in the movies than the show (23 years will do that to you) but you don’t really pay attention after the second viewing.
This game could be plausibly difficult.
Looks great! It’s been a while since I last played a DK Game. I’ll be sure to check it out.
