Great job everyone!
I'm making a note here:
HUGE SUCCESS!

Fancy yourself some Mirrors Edge? Wish there was a sequel? Well, as of right now it doesn’t seem to be in EA’s agenda. But why exactly?

While Mirrors Edge was somewhat successful, it didn’t really make a hit like Dead Space did. There were quite a few issues in terms of design for Mirrors Edge and it wasn’t as strong as Dead Space in the market. EA said they’re still trying to “figure out how to bring Mirror’s Edge back.

EA doesn’t want to simply toss it out there and appeal only to the previous audience. Instead, they want to be able to expand the franchise, so they are treading cautiously for now.

We need to go from version one to version two so that it sells two to three times as many, it finds a much bigger audience.

Too bad Mirror’s Edge to me, is the king of taking a good idea on paper, and then making it the crowning king of boring.

Mirrors Edge is the prime example of a game DESIGNED to have a sequel. Remove the flaws of the original and polish off the rest.
