Great job everyone!

If you are interested in picking up Cave’s top down shooter Espgaluda II for the Xbox 360 then feel free to import the standard edition which was recently released in Japan.

Most Xbox 360 games are region locked, but Cave has made the standard edition of Espgaluda II region free for all to enjoy. Being a top down shooter, you probably don’t really need to know Japanese either to enjoy the title

Unfortunately future releases from Cave probably won’t follow suit. Makoto Asada, producer of Cave’s console ports, spoke on the blog about the subject of region coding and while EspGaluda II’s standard edition is region free he said “I’m afraid new games after Espgaluda II Black Label won’t be region free.

This probably has to do with the company localizing the original Deathsmiles and, if that is successful, probably future cave titles.

I concur with the lack of japanese to understand the game. Even the Menu’s are in English.
