Yesterday we heard mention of Alan Wake 2 on an employee resume. While the employee was indeed working on an Alan Wake title, it isn’t Alan Wake 2. Speaking with Eurogamer, Remedy didn’t even try to pretend the title didn’t exist. They confirmed that more Alan Wake is indeed coming, but not in the form of Alan Wake 2 or DLC.
So what will it be? “The rest we’re saving for our official announcement when we’ll actually show you.” Yep, not getting that out of them. But he did say that a Fall 2011 release seems likely right now.
Remedy was recently hiring for some one with Kinect experience, so this could be Alan Wake Kinect. Remedy also mentioned to Eurogamer that they wanted to open up the series to a new audience, so that could be a sign of them going in that direction as well. We’ll just have to wait and see.
