As I understand it, Netflix adjusts the quality of the movie to the speed of the Internet you're streaming it through, so they would be pretty low quality - BUT if you're a family with kids who have a DS or two, not only does this save you on attempting to haul around the portable DVD player, it also means the kids can watch whatever they want on their own screens.

If you can receive video files on your DS, maybe one day you can send recordings off of it.

Once the DSz comes out in 2019. >_>

Is the DS powerful enough for this? I doubt it, but I might be wrong.

I'm also concerned about whether or not the DS is actually powerful enough to handle Netflix. There's also the thought of this: "You must be connected to a WiFi network to connect to NetFlix." Think about it, you could be watching NetFlix on something much more powerful rather than on the DS.

I guess it'd be an interesting alternative to loading videos on to your iPod and other such handheld devicery but...is the DS really "strong" enough for this?
But hey, if you've already got a Netflix membership and it's not gonna cost anything extra, then why not?
