While we still have to wait till 2011 for the release of Parasite Eve: The 3rd Birthday, Japan will be seeing the game launch next week! And in celebration, Square-Enix has put out a final trailer, which you can find after the jump.

With the series being absent for so long, we have to ask if we will be seeing another title. But of course, it all depends on the sales.

“We’re thinking about it, but it depends on the reception of this title. It’s difficult for the shooting genre to become a big hit in Japan, but through the development of this title I’ve come to see a direction for the next title,” said Nomura.

If it does pull through with enough numbers, Nomura said that the title will appear on consoles. He saids the title would be more like the “movie version,” where The 3rd Birthday is more like an “overseas drama.”
