Great job everyone!
I'm making a note here:
HUGE SUCCESS!

I noticed a whole lot of trailer came out this week for games that may not have huge followings on the site, but still should atleast have small ones. So in preperation for Monday I have decided to round them up in this convieniant news post. If any new trailers come out that don’t exactly warrant their own post I will place them in here after the fact. Enjoy these trailers after the jump.

In my opinion, the most exciting part of the Deus Ex series is the amount of ways you can tackle a situation. In the original you could find path after path, and even mix and match different elements of tackling a situation to create your own unique paths. Does Deus Ex: Human Revolution carrying this over? Judging by this walk-through, very much so!

The walkthrough shows off three different ways of tackling a single situation. The combat and stealth directions are more direct, but players can find alternate paths placed throughout the level. The demo itself seems to be limited in terms of how many paths there are, but it could just be for presentational purposes. Either way, there’s at least three ways of tackling this situation, which is two more than what most titles would  usually give you.

Deux Ex: Human Revolution is hitting PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 August 23rd in North America and August 26th in Europe.

Batman Arkham Asylum launched almost two years ago, so when are we going to get Arkham City? October 18th in North America, followed by Europe on the 21st for all the usual platforms, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

This new title expands outside of the Asylum and into the city, Arkham City, which is a section of the town that has been cornered off to house the previous convicts that inhabited Arkham Asylum. The city is five times bigger than the Asylum, with most of the areas opened to you right from the get go.

After the jump you can take a look at a few screenshots Rocksteady has released.

I’m not sure any series has seen nearly as many “reboots” as the Tomb Raider franchise. But yet again, here we are with another reboot.

Game Informer has a first look at the game with all new screenshots, CG, and concept art. I’m not entirely sure what to think of the new dark and gritty style of the game. It will be intresting to see if Square-Enix swings their own way with the title, or try to create a carbon copy of the Uncharted series.

The title is set for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The current release window is 2011, but with all the delays Square-Enix and Eidos have been calling recently, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see it pushed back.

The wait for the third entry in the Deus Ex series has just been extended. Square-Enix decided to push the title into the next fiscal year, missing its March 2011 release. The earliest we will get the title is April 2011.

Square-Enix plans on further polishing the game before release, which can be nothing but good. If you haven’t checked out the first Deus Ex, definitely give it a shot, it is a fabulous title.

Oh well, there’s always Mind Jack! I know all of you are looking forward to that!

While we have seen quite a few trailers for Deus Ex: Human Revolution, this is only the second trailer we have seen that focuses on actual gameplay. And, as you would expect, its classic Deus Ex action with hacking, augmentations, obstacles, and environmental elements that play into the combat.

The title is heading to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, and is currently scheduled for a early 2011 release.  You can check out a handful of new screens along with the trailer after the jump.

Those looking at picking up the PC version of Batman: Arkham Asylum should strongly consider doing so before March 1st.

Those who purchase Batman: Arkham Asylum on Games on Demand through Games for Windows – LIVE will get 75% off their purchase. The deal is available in all regions that support Games on Demand, so no worries about this being US only or something of the sort.

Microsoft plans on continuing big sales all throughout March on titles available on Games for Windows Live, so keep an eye out.
