Great job everyone!
I'm making a note here:
HUGE SUCCESS!

Gamers are probably aware that Zynga [developer of famous Facebook games such as Farmville] is a pretty nicely rounded company due to the large successes in their dealings with Facebook.  Did you know, though, that it’s actually a more “wealthy” company than EA?  It has been confirmed that Zynga stock is valued at $5.51 billion, which is several hundred million above EA’s $5.22 billion.

A dark day for “hardcore” gamers everywhere?  Naw, can’t be.  Then again, I’ve got some crops to go plow and some Bejeweled to play, so perhaps I’m a tad biased.

While you could always check your Facebook on PlayStation 3 via its web browser, the next update will be bringing improvements to make Facebook’s website function better on the PlayStation 3. Along with that you will now be able to link your PS3 and your Facebook account to automatically update your Facebook with game purchases and trophies you have achieved. Aside from face book there have been a few minor changes to user interface for the PlayStation 3. You can check you the full firmware update preview in the video above from PlayStation Blog.

X-box Live’s general manager Marc Whitten confirmed that on November 17th X-box Live users will be able to able to the use Facebook and Twitter on their X-box 360.

Will anyone plan on using this service? I’m not really into Facebook or Twitter, but it seems like if I did a PC would already be enough for these services.

Over the weekend X-box.com updated it’s UK page with the date “November 17th” listed for face book and Twitter support. Since then the date has been changed to “Autumn 2009″.  The damage has been done though. There is not much Microsoft can do at this point except deny the date was ever listed until they announce it or release the update.
