The long awaited sequel to Marvel vs. Capcom 2 could possibly be in the works right now. We know Capcom was showing some interest in a new vs. titles around Tatsunoko vs. Capcom Ultimate All-Stars’ launch, but we haven’t heard anything since.

But now, according to a man on the internet from Team Spookey, Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is on the way.

Why should you even consider his word? The poster is the same person who leaked out the entire roster for Super Street Fighter IV well before their announcements.

According to the poster, the announcement will be coming this May. Again, the whole thing is a rumor.

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is finally out and on store shelves in North America and Producer Ryota Niitsuma is already thinking about the next step for the series.

“There are a whole lot of properties that I would like to work with, a whole lot of game developers I’d like to work with in America. I’d love to do something with Nintendo maybe, or Square Enix, maybe do something with them. That would be pretty cool.”

That would be pretty cool indeed since Nintendo and Square-Enix probably have some of the biggest fan bases along with a huge cast of characters they could offer to the Vs. series.
