Nathan Drake, the wise-cracking treasure hunter, returns for a third time in Naughty Dog’s newest title, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. For readers who don’t know, Uncharted 2 won Game of the Year 2009 from various sites such as IGN, Kotaku, Giant Bomb, Joystiq, Eurogamer and many more. Has Naughty Dog pulled it off yet again?
Well, not technically first since there was a glimpse of some in the Spike VGA trailer, but it is our first real look at the gameplay. The demo segment shown showed off a good bit of cinematic sequences and gun play. Probably would look a bit smoother if you had some one playing who knew what they were doing, but eh. It’s gameplay!
The title isn’t launching until November 2011, so we have a good wait. You can check out the trailer after the jump.
If you were dying for some more Uncharted 3 content, then hit the jump! The new trailer shows the table, as before, plus the game in motion. Not as much gameplay as most people would like, but at least it is something.
And while it is still going to be awhile till you can get your hands on it, at the very least Naughty Dog has set a date of November 1st 2011.
If you skip right ahead to the trailer you might be thinking, “huh, Table: The Game?” Thankfully it is much more than that – It is Uncharted 3.
Nathan Drake will be traveling the world again in Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. While Drake will be visiting multiple locales, his main goal is the “Atlantis of the Sands,” rumored to be hidden in the Arabian desert. Of course, all that you know and love about Uncharted will be returning, along with a few more new twists. Competetive and co-op multiplayer will be returning as well.
Like many first party PlayStation 3 titles on the way, the title will feature full stereoscopic 3D, for those of you with 3D TVs. Speaking of TV, the title will have a world premiere at Spike TV’s Video Game Awardshow, airing tomorrow at 5pm pacific time.
If you want more than that, Entertainment Weekly’s December 17th issue covered the title and features “tons of additional info” according to PlayStation Blog.
You can check out the teaser trailer and some art work after the jump. Uncharted 3 is a PlayStation 3 exclusive, and is currently set for a 2011 release.

With Uncharted 2 Naughty Dog proved that the series was a force to be reckoned with, stealing many Game of the Year awards in 2009. And with sales to back up those awards, a second sequel is inveitble. Sony has been quiet so far, but a inside source claims to have information about the title.
The inside source claims that Uncharted 3 will be shown at Spike TV’s VGAs, and that it will take place in a desert. While it hasn’t been confirmed, it does seem like a likely step after being in the jungles of South America and the Himalayas.
Spike TV’s VGAs is set to air December 11th at 5pm Pacific time.
