A new 3DS color will be reaching Japan on July 14th, Flare Red.
It’ll be joining the ranks of the classic muscle car-esque paint job of the Aqua Blue and suave, classy look of Cosmo Black. As with it’s bretheren, this color sports the tri-tonal appearance although it blends together better if you ask me.
Now if only it were red and white to match the tone of this next story- a Pokémon Rumble sequel has been announced for the 3DS.Titled Super Pokémon Scramble(Rumble for everywhere but Japan), it’ll let you continue collecting and battling pocket monster wind up toys just like in the WiiWare hit but with the inclusion of Pokémon from Generation V, otherwise known as Black and White versions.
Also new to the series is the introduction of Spot Pass support for features yet unannounced, and multiplayer battles via Wi-Fi Connection. It’s hitting Japanese shelves July 28th, with neither this nor the Flare Red 3DS being confirmed for international release.

Nintendo’s 3DS digital download service, the eShop, will be going live June 6th. But even if you don’t have any money to spare, there’ll be content for you starting day one. 3DS owners who access the eShop will receive a free download of the 3D classics port of Excite Bike. Like the original, the title will feature a track editor, but this time the port will include the ability to save up to thirty two tracks. The download is a limited offers, so 3DS owners would do well to download it as soon as possible.
Nintendo also announced that the service will be launching with some Pokémon software as well, Pokédex 3D. This Pokédex 3D will allow players to access information on the 150 new Pokémon in Pokémon Black and White. Players start with sixteen Pokémon unlocked. They will continue to unlock Pokémon through QR codes, Spot Pass and Street Pass. The title also gives you a full 3D view of these Pokémon as well as the ability to place Pokémon into pictures via AR cards. There’s no mention of a time limit on the free availability of this title.
Excitebike, like other enhanced 3D classics, will look like the original NES games with added depth, but NintendoWorldReport has screenshots for Pokédex 3D.
Remember growing up as a kid, and going to McDonalds or Burger King. To get all of those Pokemon toys. You and every other kid had to collect them all, no matter what.
So if you’re a sucker for Pokemon and you have to have all the toys or cards, you should definitely check this out. (The source provides pictures of the toys, can’t obtain an image if you can’t right-click)
Starting on June 17th and lasting until July 7th, McDonalds you and all your friends can relive your childhoods and buy Happy Meals for Pokemon.
I’ve always wanted my own Oshawott which I can remove it’s head because Snivy is just that cool. Then Snivy gets in the middle of a gang fight with Zorua and Zororak vs. Reshiram and Zekrom. Pikachu the police officer, with it’s illuminating cheeks comes and saves Snivy. Then putting the others in Pokeprison. Tepig was just in the car stuffing it’s face with donuts.
Now these toys aren’t just things that sit there. They actually do commands.
“Pikachu- Press on its tail and its cheeks light up
Reshiram- Moving arms and legs
Oshawott- Bobblehead figure
Zoroark- Moving arms and waist
Tepig- Press on its back to have its tail light up
Zekrom- Moving arms and wings
Snivy- Push it forward to move his head up and down
Zorua- Push down on its back and it pounces forward”
Now even though there isn’t an Emolga, I’ll suffice. If you want some cool new Pokemon items, go to McDonalds and get them plus the cards.

Sure, Pokémon Black and White just came out in North America a month ago, but it’s been out since September in Japan. Time to start talking the next one! Well, maybe. Supposedly Dengeki Magazine is reporting an announcement for next month, but it’s unclear at the moment. But that’s really it. No idea if it’s a spin-off, remake, or even what platform it will be on.
I’m calling it right now. Pokémon Channel 2 for Project Cafe. HD Pikachu watching TV. So real!

There is absolutely no way that Pokemon Typing DS will get localized considering the weird keyboard peripheral they are shipping it with. Still we can always enjoy it’s cute marketing materials and maybe if you really want to you could import it for an exuberant price. Nintendo has released two new trailers showing off the game and how it plays. If you want to check them out hit up the jump.

So yeah, as I’ve said before, Zarla and I have some weird Left 4 Dead type characters. Though with each passing day, they move away from their fannish origins and move closer to doing their own thing. Not that I’m knocking fanworks! I’m just saying that’s how these characters are playing out… though neither of us have established names for them beyond the L4D infected we originally based their personalities on. ANYWAY the leader of the group is “Charger,” a no-nonsense zookeeper who once fought for conservation and breeding programs alongside her husband. She helped raise many of the animals in her zoo, so she had a strong bond with a lot of them. So when a mysterious virus spreads and kills or zombifies most mammals, she had to decide what the most humane action would be…

GUESS WHOSE STOMACH IS APPARENTLY TYING ITSELF INTO HIDEOUS KNOTS!! 8D
… Ugh, being under the weather sucks. BUT ANYWAY like most of you I’ve been enjoying the snot out of Pokémon Black & White. I have Black and a friend of mine has White, and we basically traveled Unova in sync, challenging gym leaders simultaneously before splitting up to explore on our own. FUN TIMES! We also traded many Pokémon to each other to get boosted experience points. I thought Sandile was adorable, so he caught me one and named him CrocDuster. Duster turned out to have Moxie as his ability, which makes me laugh every time. It makes me think that whenever he knocks out an opponent, he throws up jazz hands and yells MOXIE!! before his Attack stat rises. Anyway, my battle with Elesa was nice because after my Musharna put her first Emolga to sleep, I sent in Duster. He fainted it, got MOXIE!!, which helped him faint the next Emolga, which added to his MOXIE!! again. By the time she sent out Zebstrika, Duster was strong enough to take it out with one Dig. MOXIE!!

The Global Link, a website where players of Pokémon Black and White can connect their games and do a vast assortment of things (including playing mini-games to catching pokémon), has unfortunately been delayed. The site, which was supposed to launch on March 30th, has now been pushed back to an unannounced date due to the lack of energy and resources to maintain the site as a result of the recent earthquakes and tsunamis. Game Freak has said that they will update the Global Link website with the new launch date as soon as possible. So if you want your Drizzle Politoed, you’re just going to have to wait a little while longer.
