Great job everyone!
I'm making a note here:
HUGE SUCCESS!

Batman Arkham Asylum launched almost two years ago, so when are we going to get Arkham City? October 18th in North America, followed by Europe on the 21st for all the usual platforms, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

This new title expands outside of the Asylum and into the city, Arkham City, which is a section of the town that has been cornered off to house the previous convicts that inhabited Arkham Asylum. The city is five times bigger than the Asylum, with most of the areas opened to you right from the get go.

After the jump you can take a look at a few screenshots Rocksteady has released.

Warner Brothers accidently leaked their upcoming 2010 titles. A good chunk of the titles weren’t exactly notable, but there were two worth mentioning.

The first worth mentioning is F.E.A.R. 3 and if you are not familiar with the series its like a horror first person shooter complete with a creepy little ghost girl. Scribblenauts 2 was also listed but had a interesting tidbit along with just the listing. The list says the title is being developed for Wii, DS and PC.

We don’t know if 5th cell is working on Scribbulenauts 2 as of right now though. Last I’ve heard is that they were moving onto developing games for consoles, specifically a XBLA if I recall correctly.

Over on RetroGaming With Racketboy podcast Mark Turmell revealed he had been working on the programming for a Smash T.V. revival game at Midway before the company died. The title was a two stick shooter and kept the same top down perspective despite being in 3D. He said the project was haulted at Midway, but he believes that the game “will rise again” via Warner Brothers who purchased much of Midway’s assets.
