So it looks like Valve fans have something to look forward to in the next year! Will we get something new and fantastical like Portal? Will we get the long anticipated Half Life 2 : Episode 3? Or will Valve make my very dreams come true, and take control of my favorite franchises? I can picture it now… Super Mario RPG 2: Legend of the Metaphysical Stars & Face-Eating Crabs! It just rolls off the tongue, am I right?

If one of those surprises doesn’t involve Half-Life, I’m going to cry in a corner for 3 days.
I am so done being upset. My glands have no more tears for the dissapointment. But. I mean. Cmon. How can one of them not be Half Life related.

I can’t say I will be insanely upset if there Half-Life isn’t one of those, as I’m not the biggest fan (I haven’t played too much of it, but what I did play was awesome), but I will still be upset if Valve continues to ignore the Half-Life franchise. Another Half-Life would’ve been so much better than L4D2 <_<
That’s so vague. He never even stated if it was related to any of their game franchises or anything. That’s like if Microsoft were to have a big press conference with a bunch of live internet streams, promotional giveaways, and exclusive coverage of them having a “surprise announcement” of something like ‘Today we’re announcing that someone is going to be playing an Xbox 360 this year.’
Now that you said Gabe Newell, and Episode 3 in the same 2 paragraphs, it’s been delayed. >:(

If the surprise is that Heavy Weapons Guy appears in the new mystery Telltale Games thing, then it’s not really a surprise.
I can see how this will turn out:
1.) Left 4 Dead on PS3
2.) Left 4 Dead 2 on PS3
3.) Steam games on iPhones
These are jokes, btw.
1) Gabe Newell comes out of the closet
2) Gabe Newell loses 200 pounds
3) Gabe Newell leaves Valve
